FIFA 16 won't be appearing on any Nintendo platforms, a first since 2000

While last year's FIFA 15 was available for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita, it looks like this year's iteration of the soccer game won't be going handheld. 3DS and Vita versions have been a staple of FIFA for the last four iterations, back to FIFA 12. Prior to that, the game was always released on PSP and DS, back to FIFA 05.
