The game known as Fire Emblem if in Japan is now called Fire Emblem Fates and is coming to Nintendo 3DS in North America in 2016, developed by Intelligent Systems. Nintendo shared a new trailer for the tactical RPG in its E3 Nintendo Direct this morning, which you can watch above.

Xbox, PlayStation present new games ahead of E3 conference

(Reuters) - Videogame console titans Microsoft and Sony vied for attention ahead of the industry's annual E3 conference, giving fans sneak peaks of the latest Xbox and PlayStation games. Ubisoft blends action, music in video game lineup

Ubisoft on Monday mixed carnage, humor and music in a powerhouse lineup of video games making debuts at an Electronic Entertainment Expo extravaganza in Los Angeles. "South Park" co-creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker said the sequel to the game "Stick of Truth" was a chance to get the game that features "South Park" characters "right" this time around after the first version stumbled during development. Guillemot also introduced "For Honor" a sword fighting game in development that pits small bands of players against one another in the roles of warriors such as knights, samurai, and Vikings.

PlayStation touts virtual reality and big name games

Sony late Monday proclaimed a "new era" of PlayStation gaming complete with big-name games and the dawn of virtual reality on its powerful PlayStation 4 consoles. The Japanese entertainment titan boasted an array of beloved games for exclusive play on PlayStation 4, along with behind-closed-doors demonstrations of video games tailored to immerse players in fantasy worlds using Sony's Project Morpheus virtual reality head gear.
