More photos shared daily on Snapchat used than on Facebook and Instagram combined

Snapchat generates around 400 million photos per day via its mobile app, according to its CEO Evan Spiegel, quoted by the website TechCrunch. This means that the photo-sharing app has surpassed Facebook, where users upload 350 million photos per day on average. To be more precise, the total number of photos shared temporarily through Snapchat each day is roughly equal to the combined total shared through Facebook (350 million) and Instagram (50 million). As a result, the app has become a more frivolous and fun way to share funny, embarrassing or even naughty photos with reduced risk of them falling into the wrong hands.
