London's Metropolitan Police have arrested 16 people in connection with keyless vehicle thefts — i.e. The arrests are part of Operation Endeavour, a response to rising keyless motor vehicle thefts in Britain. Overall, 84 people were arrested in the first week of Operation Endeavour, and five allegedly stolen Land Rovers and hundreds of vehicle parts were seized. Police also distributed 30,000 fliers to raise awareness about keyless motor vehicle theft.
