Slim smartphone zoom is one step closer

Oppo's Find 7 comes with a 13-megapixel camera and features a Super Zoom function -- it takes 10 burst shots and combines the best four into a "super" 50-megapixel picture. This gives you more detail in your picture, but it does take a while for the phone to do the processing. New technology from DynaOptics promises to deliver optical zoom to smartphones without the need for a protruding lens element.>
