Apple directing people to downgrade to iOS 8.0 while it readies 8.0.2

Apple says it's still working on a fix to the 8.0.1 update, which will be readying "in the next few days." In the meantime, the company has outlined a way to restore both cell service and Touch ID using a similar method that users discovered on their own earlier today:
