This moving map displays the world in 3D

For the installation "Polyscape," artist Shunsaku Ishinabe projects a map onto a grid of tiles and then has those tiles flex up and down based on the landscape's actual height and depth. When it's displaying a mountain, the map raises to a point, and when it's displaying a depression, the map sinks.
