Amazon to finally unveil its Apple TV, Chromecast rival next week

After countless months of rumors, it looks like Amazon is finally getting ready to take the wraps off its TV set-top box. Unnamed sources tell Re/code that Amazon will unveil its new video streaming device on April 2nd, which just happens to be next Wednesday. It’s still unknown at this time whether Amazon’s device will be a full set-top box like Apple TV or whether it will be a USB dongle capable of streaming video from the web like Chromecast.
