Fit for purpose: Samsung's latest smartwatches

As well as potentially dropping the original Galaxy Gear after less than six months' sales, Samsung is also dropping the word ‘Galaxy' from the two watches lining up to replace it. ‘Galaxy' is used to describe Samsung products that run on Android, but the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo use Tizen, Samsung's in-house operating system that most consumers have probably never heard of.
