HP, Google select Altair's chip for LTE-only Chromebook

TEL AVIV (Reuters) - Israel's Altair Semiconductor, a developer of chips for fourth- generation (4G) mobile technology known as LTE, said its chips will connect the new Hewlett Packard Chromebook to Verizon Wireless' LTE network.
