Galaxy Gear hack enables sideloaded Android apps, small-screen squinting

While we're still trying to figure out what tasks fit the Galaxy Gear best, it turns out a relatively simple hack can add functionality quickly. Ars Technica found that if you enable USB debugging in the system menu, you can sideload media and traditional Android apps to Samsung's smartwatch from your PC. However, because the gizmo doesn't have internet access of its own, its usefulness is still pretty limited.
