(Reuters) - LED supplier Universal Display Corp posted higher second-quarter profit as orders increased from flat panel display makers, sending its shares up 18 percent in after-hours trading. The company earned $15.4 million, or 33 cents per share, compared with $11 million, or 23 cents per share, a year ago. Revenue rose 65 percent to $49.4 million. Shares of the company were trading at $34.80 in trading after the bell. They closed at $29.37 on the Nasdaq on Thursday. (Reporting by Supantha Mukherjee in Bangalore; Editing by Akshay Lodaya)
