Nintendo characters appearing in Skylanders SuperChargers as hybrid amiibo figures

Skylanders SuperChargers will bring amiibo into the Skylanders universe for the first time, Nintendo and developer Vicarious Visions announced today during Nintendo's E3 Digital Event. Donkey Kong and Bowser will appear in SuperChargers as toys that are both Skylanders figures and amiibo. Turbo Charge Donkey Kong will have his own vehicle, the Barrel Blaster, which is a new feature for the Skylanders series this year.
